I'm in the monastery as the messenger of the don and i can't find inquisitor Mendoza. Is he supposed to be in the hall with the big flame?

I've also encountered that bug, i don't know what to do with that.
The console can help in this case.
/goto Inquisitor/may not be neccessary/
edit Inquisitor - world positions
- get the positions of the hall, and change the inquisitor's position accordingly.
...and then talk to him.

Anyway... even if you'd manage to get through that conversation, you would encounter more bugs, even greater ones... I don't know why, but I've not encountered any bugs while playing on the Order's side

I already tried spawn and goto. When i started the conversation, i fell through the floor with the inquisitor and got stuck somewhere underground. But the inquisitor is usually in the hall with the pit and the flame, right?

Yea he's supposed to be there. I remember messing with him for a few minutes until i could change his position correctly and get through the conversation...

If hes not at the flame, hes off to the side entrance (to the right of the hall) and at the back with the huge door.

I spawned directly to him, he was in an underground hall, with a blue circle (probably where the endfight is takin place,...). I put him in front of the temple and the story went on. Thanks a lot, you must have a long history of gothic debugging

But now I have another problem the journal is empty, no quest are shown anymore and no markers appear on the map. Quest are still given and updated but not shown in the journal.

It's usually not a problem, but I need to find the 3 graves, and it's going to be hard without the markers, I guess. Can I spawn to the graves directly via console?

I found a solution. Change resolution and change it back, logs are back in the game. I can only say another great JOWOOD game: U wanna play, U gotta pay. Lets hope after Risen community patch 1.7 the game will be bug free

Well, I've been around since Gothic started and even earlier, in debugging / modding. I liked the Elder Scrolls series, and my favourite was Morrowind back then, i loved to play with the CS provided by Bethesda, then i decided to get into it a bit more, but nothing really serious...

And yea they keep releasing games like it was some sort of a damn race "We'll release more games than you, so we will cover the market with our crappy stuff" (for example: Electronic Arts)

Gothic 3 is really a great game, but surely they should have tested and cleaned it a bit more before releasing, not to speak of performance...

Jowood published the gothic games, they didnt make them, as said Pirhana Bytes did.
