    Hey all,

For some reason, when I play COD WaW, I get this awful whining noise that comes from the game. It's not through the speakers, because I disconnected them. Sounded like it came from the monitor ... yeah wtf??? Could it be a problem with the fan, graphics card maybe? It's only this game, all my other games play fine

    Any suggestions?

    Specs:
    Intel QUAD Core 2.5Ghz
    2GB ram
    logitech speakers
    2 x 300Gb drives
    NVIDIA 9800 GTX2
Windows 7 Ultimate RTM (Latest Build)

there's more stuff but im not a computer person...
    I'm either here, or I'm ... Uhmm?

What type of monitor are you using? There is a chance that it could be the refresh rate, you can lower it in the games option menu.

Something to do with the motherboard IMO. But I suspect it is not the source of the problems. See if your hardware connections are proper.

Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.
