For those free users that want to have unlimited funds and super powered heroes, you can easily obtain this by editing your save game.
Instruction...
Open your Majesty 2 savegame directory (should be in my documents, the open profile, saves and "save0" or which ever number save you want to edit.
Open the file named 'Mission' using wordpad. using the find command type in 'player',the line should look like this; {"kingdoms" {kingdom {kingdomdescriptor {kingdomdescriptor "player"} {humanplayer 1} } {kingdomtreasure "money" 351.75 "wood" 0 "id" 1} change your money value to anything you want and then load the game...
Your rich.
Super Heroes...
If you want super heroes it is the similar process open 'mission' file again using wordpad and use the find function and type in the corrisponding value for your hero you want to change.
The lines should look something like this: {entity "hero_hunter" 0xe000 {player 255} {operatable} {aid 81} {position 24.53 38.47} {xform zl -57.93} {"fsm"
These should be enough for most you could always using common sense to find the rest. but after you put these in search and you reach the line that defines the 'entity' of your hero scroll down a bit till you find the header that says 'level' then you should find the line that states the number of experience points your hero has and its level. Only change the experience points to something like 60000 and not the level if you don't want problems and you should have a hero about level 40.
Have fun...

Hi! i wondered about the fog of war. Im currently trying self to get rid of the whole FOW but it seems to be that each mob lair has its own fow? so any suggestion.
BTW you pro[ably know it but its to anyone who reads this post the first time, if you think that the nobs are attacking you too many times you can change it by adding an new value for example> {"minotaur_null" {"spawn type" units} {raw fantasy_minotaur} {Nationality Same} {level 1} {"AI task" Then you can add new task for example you can force them to not to attack by adding {task protect} {protect_radius 50} its quite easy you'll understand the commands when you scroll the part where are the in game mobs and their commands. Ps. also you can change the boss stats

Hi AS323
You can find the Castle's healthpoints in the 'mission' file the code should look like this: --------------------------------------------------------------- {entity "castle" 0x1bd {player 255} {operatable} {aid 11} {position 13.08 49.86} {"level" {lastlevelupdatedview 1} } {"ideath" {is_alive 1} } {"entitynationality" {fatherland {kingdomdescriptor "player"} {humanplayer 0} --------------------------------------------------------------- if you scroll a bit further down you will see the sections where you will be able to change the health and also how much gold it generates for you.
Hope this helps.

Well Peep412
The best I could recommend is to change the line of sight of one type of hero or your guard tower to a ridiculous level so that it will reveal all the FOW.

Hey Meatbites
When I try to open the save file using notepad or wordpad, it comes up as garbled/jumbled code(like several languages/fonts). I downloaded the Majesty 2/Kingmaker/Battle for Ardania via Gamestop(Impulse). It seems like I won't be able to edit the savefiles unless I have some means of translating the code to something I can read. Any suggestions?

I have yet to find a solution myself to this issue but I wanted to post an observation I have made in regard to this issue in the hopes that someone here can help.
The savegame editing the OP talk about only works with the Original game
If you have any of the expansion packs installed this way of editing the savegames dont work, you only get the unreadable text/code you talk about.
Its very annoying as I found the savegame editing to be the best way to get what I wanted, as I have not been able to get any of the trainers for the game to work, most likely because they are outdated and not compatible with the current version of the game.
