Come on don't let a stupid aiming down on playing this Cool game .Believe me i enjoy playing this game a lot .

Aiming using the arrow keys is just...complicated.

Im sure if they added mouse & key board support, they would've definitely done it properly and since its from CAPCOM themselves. How bad could the controls be anyway? The only thing i'm worried about is having a lousy backup partner and the Camera view.

So I played RE5 when it originally came out for the consoles, and I'm playing it now for the PC. I think Capcom did a great job with this PC version as I feel far more effective with the mouse/keyboard. Everyone's personal mileage may vary but I like it a lot.

Controls are a real turn off for me. didnt like it on XBOX360 and hate the pc version even more. I had read reviews that stated the controls where revamped and polished for the pc version, as far as I am concerned that was an outright lie. I realy regret having bought this game now.

I can honestly say that aiming in this game with a mouse and keyboard is both fluid and intuitive.

It's actually easier than with any gamepad, you just have to get used to the little swaying that happens when you move the pointer quickly and sometimes when still.

I also managed to get the "Meat Shower" and "Be The Knife" achievements in my first sitting. "Meat Shower" is where you kill 3 or more enemies with a single frag grenade at once, and "Be The Knife" is when you deflect an arrow/crossbow bolt with your knife/machete.

Overall, a very fun game with fluid controls so far. Now if only my mouse wouldn't jam and stop registering clicks for seconds at a time.

I agree 100% with Foxxie, I like the COntrols more than the 360 Version...

I didn't see if anyone had actually answered his question.. so I will answer just to make sure someone did...

yes you right click too aim (basically third person iron sights ) and shoot with the left mouse button... This is assuming you are right handed

Well the movement is annoying and that you cant run and gun but either than that the controls are fine for me. The earlier mission that i just played where we have to lure that tentacle wormy boss into the furnace, the "Turn and run" thing kinda annoyed me and i always forget that we have that Quick turn button too, im just not use to it yet.

But at least theres one good thing about this problem, it makes things more intense and woot adrenaline rush! ...kinda scary too yea..having a big blob monster chasing you like that..

Anyways imo mouse and keyboard is hella better than a controller. I have no problem aiming and shooting off a head or two since i played fps games all my life. Controllers are just a little too stiff for me..mouse & keyboard is more flexible.
