Age of Empires 3: The Asian Dynasties Message Board  

Regarding the Trainer 1.01/1.01a, Add Gold, Wood, Food, Export, Exper....

I originally installed AoE 3 (the basic game) and upgraded it to a version to use a trainer that didn't require unlimited membership, and it worked great.

Now I've updated it through War Chiefs and Asian Dynasties, and updated it to 1.01a. However the trainer does not work for it. It will say "Activated" at the main screen, and "Cheat Activated" in-game, but never does anything. It doesn't crash the game either.

Do I need to do something special to get it to work? I'm opening the game by clicking the Asian Dynasties Icon...should I be using one of the others?

It would appear something is blocking the trainer, but still, see the above link.
