Need help with playing fable on Fable: The Lost Chapters PC Message Board - Page 1

Hi i need help with fable.

whenever i click on the launch icon on my desktop a message appears saying i do not have the file d3dx9_25.dll .

please help me, i really want to play this game.

P.S. i have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times.

hey, your direct X install is corrupted or installed incorrectly, ive gotten this before and it took me forever to get a replay on yahoo to tell me what it was, just go to google and look for the Direct X 10? i think thats the latest and its a free downlaod/install and that will correct the problem with d3dx9_25.dll file issue

It will feel better when it quits hurting.

i did what u told me to do. But know when i press play the screen that says play, uninstall, website goes away. then my cursor says the computer is loading it up. then a screen flashes that says fable and it says fable - the lost chapters has stopped working.

p.s. im running on windows vista

just wait it out vista is having A LOT of problems right now
