Yes, Bungie has been giving away Recon left right and center. It's a surprise Chingy hasn't gotten his hands on it yet.

Haha tell me how to get sum i like it =DD but it is true PL once ODST comes out it wont be as rare. ( me myself still havent completed the annual vidmaster)

Bungie has done weekly contests to win Recon in the past. The very last contest is over, and it was to complete every Campaign level on Legendary Difficulty, with all skulls on, and with a friend. First team to win got Recon.

Now that's just silly. Recon is losing its rarity (which is what makes it worth getting). It's just not worth doing all these contests.
