Question, got you the "id" folder in the Directory Users??
I installed the game on Windows XP and Server 2008.
But there is no "id" folder in the Windows XP Users folder.
The Server got the folder and it’s an English language server, the game is german, but it crashed also….
But and this is the best, the game crashed also, if I activate the “Options”, or some times, if I only die….
Maybe the germen version got to much bugs….
Salute Gilga!
According to the windows search and by manual inspection there is only one folder "id software" and it contains only savegames and the files "config.spec" (0 Bytes) and "wolf.cfg" (6 kbytes). The last file contains the assignments of the keys of the keyboard to the game functions; nothing specific to the country. All other game files are in the user-chosen installation folder.
So, in my opinion there is nothing in these files that can explain the fact that the game runs normally without trainer but crashes to the desktop while using it.
Especially, the game did not crash on my PC when choosing "options", but I have XP home. Perhaps your problem is related to the server version?

I already use the no-cd fix, but the game keeps crashing when i activate the trainer...
Hello!
That's what I experienced, too. But now I found a working trainer+4 for the German 1.1 version of Wolfenstein ( 0.91.28.7025) and here is the link:
www.das-download-archiv.de/trainer_download_3902.html
Since there's no audio confirmation use Alt-Tab in Wolfenstein to confirm that options are active by looking on the trainer display panel. Be aware, sometimes the trainer quits itself without crash but generally it works and saved my ass during the fight with the level boss in the castle.
Hope this will help the other "Germans" around here.
Happy hunting
