i just bought this game and upgraded it with the .18 patch, but now, when i press F1 to activate the trainer, the game completely crashes in vista 64. What can i do?

Disable you Antivirus/Firewall that might be blocking it.

Also disable UAC as you are using Vista.

And also make sure the Trainer is of the correct version matching your game.

I have UAC disabled, the trainer is the correct version and i tried disabling the antivirus. this is the first time something like this happens with one of these trainers

I have the same Problem under Windows XP. All drivers are to date.

Try applying a game fix if available or just reinstall so it gets back to its original version.

My game is original and it's playable after updated.
But it's crash out when 'F1' activate.

I've enjoyed without it. Until my car too hot, 'instant evade cops' make it easier.

I also get this. I'm running an Windows 7 RTM (Ultimate) release. I even attempt to run in compatibility mode. No change. Current patch is latest (.18)

Same for me to. (XPSP3/latest driver/deact.avir/...)
I tried out 2 versions (fr/ger/ita and en-us)

EA has released a fixed version of patch ...18 a few weeks after the first release!

So there are two versions of every patch 1.0.1.18.

For example:

May.07.09 - Patch 1.0.1.18 fr/ger/ita (39,4mb)
May.20.09 - Patch 1.0.1.18 fr/ger/ita (41,3mb)

Thats why the trainer dosn't work for many people,
i mean ...
