alright i just got back from testing the cod trainer and to my astonishment it works absolutely flawless.

did it the same way like i did with the mario trainer and it works perfect. trainer menu is shown in the upper left corner and all cheats work great.

this makes me even more confused about the mario trainer

but theres something i realized as i tested the mario trainer once more. the trainer seems to be working just fine, it's just the menu that doesn't show up.
i clicked around a bit on the d-pad, down, left, down, left... and back in game i suddenly had 999gems, super jump and high speed activated.

i think i will be able to find out how to switch on and off the options with a little try and error, it's just a little uncomfortable this way.

So when you press 2 to start the trainer, the text in the active dialog box, does not change?

nope unfortunately not. trainer works but theres no trainer menu shown.

You are pressing "2" at the screen where it says Save and Quit, right? (after pressing QUIT from the pause menu)

yep thats what i did, but it won't show me the trainer menu.
oh well, i guess it can't be helped then, i'll manage to activate the options somehow

anyways, awesome job on the trainers i wouldn't ever thought of trainers for wii games

btw, is it possible to put several gpf files in the patch folder and gecko automatically chooses the right one?

hey there my friend.. can you tell me what language of the game you are playing? is it the english version? if its not then that would explain why the menu doesnt display.

i'm using the pal version of the game wich is, as far as i know, multi 5. i'm playing it with german language.

but i gotta admit, you got a point there, that could be the reason after all. didn't think of that

i will test it when i come home tonight and set the wii to english and try it again.

i'll let you know if it works then

omg i can't believe it. that was really it. starting the game in english everything works absolutely great.

i cant' believe that i was stupid enough to not think of that in the first place

and also thank you PWiz for trying to help me out, which didn't work out so well because of my own stupidity
