wiibrew.org/wiki/Setting_up_your_Wii_for_Homebrew tells you how to install the homebrew channel which will allow you download the OS for the cheating part. You don't need a mod-chip for this to run. Check out the homebrew channel, there are already good cheating programs. And you can find cheatcode here geckocodes.org

Hi, I have a question. I'm currently loading my games via USB Loader GX. Can I still make this trainer work? If yes, How? Currently, I'm using Ocarina to load cheat on games but I can't change it while playing the game. So, I'm very interested on the update that you've made. Really awesome. Thanks

Yeah, I was looking at Wiis after I saw there were Wii trainers. I am going to subscribe to CH even though a lot of my D2D games don't work with their trainers. I do hope they work on that and use the subscription money to get some of those versions and hack them.

Thanks for all the info on the homebrew channel. Nintendo is really smart. It's the first console in many years I wont wait until I can get it pre modded first because you can tinker around with it and run emulated games and all kinds of stuff. Excellent console. I have ran a few of the games in the Dolphin emulator, and I will be getting Batallion Wars, Fire Emblem, Super Mario Galaxy...suprisingly I don't like any of the Zelda games even though they are so highly rated.

@markikswabe -- You'll have to use disc for now. I'm sure the USB loaders will catch up soon with latest ver of Gecko and support the gpf patching.

Thanks, Tmpsth2k2. I will try that out, and hopefully start enjoying the homebrew scene.
