Fallout 3: Broken Steel Message Board  

Hi guys, I was just wondering is this DLC compatible with the "continue after main quest mod"? Do I have to start the game all over again or I can just remove it?

I do advise you to start over again if you have completed the game, if not you should be able to remove it but remove it before your install BS

No it does not require you to restart your game!

Update Fallout 3 to 1.5

When you start a convo with that brotherhood of steel girl (I don't remember names) on the ending of the last Fallout 3 quest (Project Impurity), you will get a popup confirming the DLC has been activated.

I decided you sacrifice myself in the game, so instead of the game getting finished, you wake up at the Brotherhood of Steel HQ.

ehh i can't play broken steel i updated to 1.5(not sure i may update again to be sure) and i completed the game but i don't wake up 😵 it shows only the cinematic at the ending and its boring

You need to update your game to ver 1.7 for everything to work.

Get the 1.7 patch at the official Fallout website here:

fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/downloads/updates.html

and make sure to NOT use any "continue after main quest is finished" mods because that's what broken steel let you do
