Don't have WinZip. Have WinRAR 3.80, 7-Zip 4.65 and Universal Extractor.

And a standard zip file can be easily extracted using the above.

Okay, I've checked the file and confirmed the problem.

Vegetta, you need to zip using Legacy Compression method. WinZip 10 and above have new proprietary compression methods that provide a much tighter ratio, but is incompatible with everything. Hence the Unknown Method error. Same with WinRAR 3.60 and above, I believe.

This happened to me enough times that I have BOTH WinRar and WinZip installed. Don't ask...

I see...I was not very sure for that problem but since you have confirmed that it's ok now. The only thing i can to is to suggest to download the files from my esnips folder, if there is a problem. (Check my profile).

WinZip 12 defaults the extension to zipx to differentiate.

The new compression algorithms puts it on par with RAR's compression. It's somewhat depressing that we're still forced to use the older Legacy algorithms.
