Try using the no-cd fix with the Steam version.
And how will that work? Applying a retail game fix to a steam game will never work - I have been trying to do that to almost all my STEAM games.
I don't have the STEAM version of the game, but let me inform you that STEAM exe's have different code structures than that of the Retail exe (I am not familiar with any exceptions, so you can better me with Cal's logic!).
Regards,
HG
PS: The STEAM exe has entry points to STEAM.dll, which is absent in Retail exe, so how will you handle that exception?
