I know you have to rename the Fallout3.exe Security catalogue to something like Fallout3.exe.bak to get the trainers running but i found out yesterday that there is another way.

Anyone using mods will have FOMM (Fallout 3 Mod Manager) and FOSE (Fallout 3 Script Extender).

I'm not sure which one it is but you will have both on your computer.

When running the game from FOMM with FOSE which is the button you would press to start the game Windows Live is automatically disabled so as not to cause any crashes.

So i don't know if this is any help to anyone, just thought i would pass it on to anyone who hasn't used mods yet.
