how do I get wheat on the island. I have built docks and trade routes and neither one shows anything in there for sell or buy. Please Help.

What island are you refering to? If you are refering to a smaller island you built a bridge to. You have to get wheat to it the old fashioned way by building a wheat farm. If you are on a mission that doesn't allow you to build a wheat farm. You have to click the button at the very top right corner. Will take you to a map view and will show you other cities. Click on every one and see which one is selling wheat (products on the right side). After you found the city, set a trade route to that city by clicking that option at the bottom once the city is selected. If it's a land route, you can also build a road for faster trades.
