I have played Fallout 3 since it came out but recently i have had a BIG problem. My game crashes my computer, not just the game so i have to shut down and restart the computer then i have the message from windows that it has recovered from a critical system failiur. I have the 1.6 patch and the Pitt, Anchorage expansions from store bought DVD not from downloading them. Does anyone know why? Please help me:

    Same situation here.

It scares me so much cuz everytime it crashes I have to use the hard way to turn off PC (push the button).

I have turned off anti-virus and some other utilities, but it still happens over time.

I am thinking whether updating XP will solve the problem.

I have my XP upgraded to SP 3 (Cuz I need to play GTA IV).

The updated Fallout 3 (1.6) sometimes crashes too, even without using trainer. But generally I think it has fixed so many bugs already (Some many crashes in 1.0 - 1.4).
