Everything Obsidian touches, it destroys. KOTOR2 should have been enough to show you that. It's literally only 2/3 of a game and the third which wasn't finished and was removed contains half the story.
Sure content was removed.
Was still a great game and one of my favorites.
Doesnt make Obsidian bad. I prefer Bioware of course.
But thats just your opinion.
Then look at their entire body of work: Neverwinter Nights 2 was a huge letdown after it's predecessors, and was unfinished same as the endless expansions for it. It had the exact same problems as KOTOR2: it was buggy as all hell and was missing a huge chunk of the game.
That and KOTOR2 is all they've ever done and it's pitiful.
When Black Isle folded, everyone good founded Troika. Everyone who was bad founded Obsidian.
It was "missing a huge chunk of the game" because of the deadline that was met before it could be implemented.
I'd rather see Obsidian do it, than it never get done. A few glitches do not bother me, and the glitches in KotOR 2 are nothing game breaking.
Of course it would be better if Bioware did it, but seeing as how they are so busy with ToR, it looks doubtful.
