To Play With Mongols They Got To Set The Game In 12 13 14 Century.

True that. Empire takes places after the Thirty Years War, now spanning into the Napoleonic Wars. The Mongols were irrelevant during those days.

And the big time of the Mongols ends with the two failed invasions of Japan anyway, 13th century. After that the Mongols are really no issue anymore. Gengis Khan, Kublai Khan and then it goes downhill rather fast.

I'd love to see an expansion with the Texan Revolution, Mexican war and finally the American Civil War.

Boshin War would be interesting in Japan. Maybe add the Opium War, too.

Eventually the British campaigns in Africa.

Franco-Prussian war, well, that may come faaaar in the future. And most likely not as an expansion by itself.

For now I'm looking forward to Napoleon. Hell yeah! I get to bash the **** out of Europe AGAIN. Woohoo!

Personally I'd have liked an expansion to Empire better than a spin-off about Napoleon.
I kinda expect them to make an Empire expansion after that still.

You can play as America in the grand campaign its just not in the Menu where you pick your faction you have to beat the road to independence. After you beat it go to the road to inpendence menu click on the fourh episode and play it replaces the 13 colonies with U.S.A

Far Asia (Japan) would be the icing on the crappy Empire cake...I miss Shogun!!

comparing to paradox interactive...

the game is good, but not as detailed as Paradox Interactive's HOI series or Europa Universalis series, in those games, you can pick any nation you want in a world wide map, but you can't do that in total war series. also this game needs multiple senarios, people who want to play historical have a hard time due to the AI and other stuff, also there should also be a campaign that allows you to conquere the world, with no time limit. there should also be more events that keeps the player interested.

anyway if you could put those 2 games together it would be perfect in my opinion
