What do I have to do to make this thing run on a 64-bit version of Vista. Why does it keep BLEEPing crashing!?

I get a CTD immediately after the intro movie with the standard Microsoft message saying the application had to be closed and we couldn't be bothered to work out why.

Do you have any compatibility settings? If so, then set them to Windows XP, etc...

Compatibility settings don't work. In any form.

As far as I can tell, no sane combination of applying patches does anything either.

Your solution is in your computer...you have 2 Hd's? if not, partition the HD you have, then load Xp on it, load your game.
If you do have 2 HD's, Load Xp on that one....you have a dual boot. This is the solution to a lot of games that wont play in Vista. I am not familiar with that game and the requirements for it, but the above mention will fix it, and not cost you a thing. (assuming you still have your Xp disk)

COPIED FROM A POST IN THE INTERNET.

Yeah. It's not worth switching back and forth between 2 OSes just to play one game.

An anyhow, I don't have a free partition.
