to enable DEVMODE the proper way is to make a desktop shortcut and edit the properties .. it should look exactly like the following

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe" -DEVMODE

(windows seven 64bit) make sure there is a space between the last " and the -DEVMODE or it will fail and yes if your useing a 64bit game you need a 64bit triner same with the 32bit

if your on XP or a 32bit version of Vista/Seven your shortcut will look like this "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe" or "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe" since the 64bit version of Vista/Seven uses the X86 (32bit) Program Files folder for 32bit programs that is where this game is installed .. however the game as 64bit code in it so the installed directory isn't exactly to be in that folder .. it could be "C:\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe" and still work
