Would someone please tell me in detail how to do this... lol.. Been gaming on and Intell I7 pc for only a few months and only played on my other PC for like 2-3 years... so I have no clue what Im doing... hehe

Edit the shortcut on your desktop (or create a shortcut to the game if you don't have one), and append the argument at the end of the 'target' line (after the last ", if it's present)
EG:
Target [ "C:/Path/to/Program.exe" -<Argument> ]

hmm, i'm not sure about crysis directly, but if there is a launcher before the game runs, you'll have to create a shortcut on your desktop to the actual game executable.
once the shortcut is made, right click on it, select properties, and then select the shortcut tab in the window that appears. append -devmode to the end of the target line, after the last " (if there is one).
hope that helps

Ok well I tried the Crysis x64.exe and Crysis.exe and no luck on anything... I will say that I am STUPED when it comes to FILE editing... Can you please help me in DETAIL! unless u dont have the game? im running WINDOWS VISTA X64 BIT Edition and an Intell I7 PC... What am I doing wrong..? when I create Copy of game file it says:
The folder'"C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis64.exe"-DEVMODE specified in the start box is not valid. Make sure that the folder exhists and that the path is correct. I EVEN TRIED THE: Target line too and got the same error!
Why is this...? I know that a copy of the games address listed above should match the Address to the file location right? that is why it is not working, cuz when I make a copy of the game.exe file and adjust the file path as listed above to add -DEVMODE after the last " that the actuall file locastion has no -DEVMODE so it is giving me this error cuz of this... im Saying that the Copy of the Game.exe's address/location when I right click and select "properties" tab and then go to Target or Start lines need to be the same as the actual game.exe's file location address so I can't add -DEVMODE to the end, cuz the crysis.exe/Crysisx64.exe does not have -DEVMODE @ the end in the actuall file location, so adding it on to the copy will not work... This is why I NEED TOTAL Detailed HELP!!! ... lol I play around making musik not making/editing files! lol

i think the confusion is that he thinks he's supposed to be adding command functions to the actual .exe file? he referred to the "copied app". this is incorrect. any command line functions must be appended to a SHORTCUT to the .exe. so create a SHORTCUT (not a copy of the .exe) anywhere on your comp, open up the properties for it, and in the field box labeled Target: append -DEVMODE at the end, AFTER the file location and AFTER the quotes, so for example:
