I´m using Fallout 3 (german version) v1.6 without any download content and the trainer says: Can´t find game
Any ideas?

Same issue here.

Exit the game completly. Then close the trainer.
Open the trainer again, then launch game. Activate trainer.
Should solve the problem.

Thanks for your answer but I still can´t activate the trainer.
Also after trying your suggested sequenze the trainer says:
"trainer can´t find game"

I also tried to start the trainer first but -> same negative result

You can use the cheat codes except of trainer!
they are good but their quality is lower than trainer.

Its sounds like its either not compatible with your game or the patch you applied. What previous version did the trainer work with?

Just open console (tilde) and type tgm for god mode so you don't get any damage, unlimited ammo and no weapon degrading, plus you can carry loads.

I installed Fallout3 again yesterday and tried the trainer for the "unpatched"-Version, but had also no luck.
Then I patched FO3 step by step (1.1, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6), always using the adequate trainer, but no trainer worked.

Conclusion (IMHO): The CH-trainers for Fallout3 don´t work with the german version.

So, thank you for all your answers. I will use the TGM-mode now, but it´s bothering me, that I can´t decide to be invulnerable while still wasting ammo. Well, that´s life...you can´t get everything.
