Is it possible to stop it from updating automatically?? Because when I try to launch it it sais will be ready to play in 4 min even if i tell it not to update automatically. Please if there is a way I must know i dont want it to update by itself.

    It simple.

    1) Select the game in steam that you want it to no longer update.
    2) Right click the game and select properties
    3) Select the Updates tab in the window that pops up
    4) Select "Do Not Automatically Update this Game"
    5) Click OK

And steam will no longer update the game.

One says, "I've lost my electron."
The other says, "Are you sure?"
    The first replies, "I'm positive....."

I have the same problem. Even though I choose to not automatically update, each time I restart my computer, it reverts back to the default of auto updates. The only way for me to keep from auto update is to start steam in offline mode, then make sure I click do not update game in properties. It is still a pain to do this, and have forgotten about it, and have been auto updated, the last couple of times.

For some reason, STEAM application doesn't apply the settings when it quits..

Yes. I confirm this now. The game will not start in offline mode, if there is an available update. Even though I had "do not authomatically update this game" on. It still updated. I can get no response from the publisher or Steam, as to why this is.

I've had a go at disabling steam auto-updates, I tried a few different things and one did succesfuly prevent steam from updating and still allow you to play, set it so it starts in offline mode, then exit steam. Re-enter steam (Offline), and dissable your internet connection, it cant try and update if their is no internet.
