Spore: Galactic Adventures Message Board  

I just got a new computer.
I haven't played the old spore in months
I want to play from the Cell stage all the way to the space stage again on this new computer.........

However...........
I want to buy the new Galactic Adventures Expansion.
I read that Caliber said that the expansion has a separate EXE, and is a separate game and thus needs separate trainers.

MY QUESTIONS ARE:
(non trainer question) 1. If I load spore via the expansion, galactic adventures, but I do not have a save game since this is a new computer, Will I be able to play all the stages again starting from cell stage all the way to space stage via the GALACTIC ADVENTURES EXE ??? or do i have to use the spore exe and play the game through, and then exit spore, and load up the galactic adventure exe and it will transfer over my character??

(trainer question) 2. Assuming the above questions answer is, that I CAN play all the stages via the galactic adventures EXE will the old trainer work in the cell stages etc? and would i have to disable the trainer once i reach the space stage??

Thanks, this is a lil comfusing because i do not have the game yet, so i do not know how they are intergrating the OLD portion of the games STAGES ( cell stage, civ stage) into the expansions exe....

1) You can play through all stages with Spore GA

2) Spore Trainer and Spore Galactic Adventures trainer are 2 Different trainers.

Therefore, If you plan to cheat from Cell to Civilization stage, then use the Spore Trainer 1.4 and the regular Spore game.

If you plan to cheat from Space and GA, use the GA Trainer and the Spore GA game.

So if i play the spore galactic edition, it will allow me to instantly play from space phase?

is there a way to transfer my save game from Original spore to galactic edition spore?

Ok got the game and answered my question

To those who have similar questions,

The answer is.

Spore and spore galactic adventures edition both SHARE the same save games....

so if you load up the original spore, and create a creature...then exit out of that game, and load up the galactic adventures edition expansion, BING BONG WALLA BANG, the creature you created will be transferred over..

Thank you cal and pwiz for creating trainers for the expansion, I just don't know how you guys get it all done, its alot of work it seems....thanks!
