Actually World of Warcraft is based on Warcraft 3... they just made it a MMORPG FPS game instead of a RTS game.

I agree as well with that one, although when I first saw World of Warcrafts trailer on The Frozen Throne disc I did think it was going to be a brilliant game at least until...

... I went to buy it and it had a great big sticker slapped on it INTERNET REQUIRED, now as it was a while ago when it was first released- i did not have the internet, so i lost out then more bad news...

... not only do you have to pay for the game but you have to pay to play it each month- so that went out the window as many people surely will agree with the reasoning why.

I love RTS games and this was one of my firsts, yet i can still play it over and over again and get enjoyment from it. I'd love to see a sequel to it to find out what happens to Thrall, Arthas and the others, and maybe introduce new races, new units, new heroes, and another brilliant campaign story with graphics to live up to todays standards. I mean- come on who wouldn't like to see the orcs or the undead with the level of detail in todays games.

Bring on a new Warcraft game- that doesn't require the internet or monthly payments.
as you stand, gun in hand, ready for the attack. The calm before the storm is broken...BANG...headshot from a sniper.
I wait in darkness until the opertunity arrives- picking my timing and position, seeing the whites in your eyes before the trigger is pulled and life fades from my opponents.

Yeah, I agree. Cant wait for a WC4. I'v played the series since Orcs & Humans was released, didnt get into it until WC2.. after playing the second one I was sold on it. I can still go back and play WC2 & 3, especially online or LAN. One of those oldy but goodies that I can always go back to for a fun time. I'd have to say one thing that really made it worth while, in my opinion, is the story line. Still one of the best that I'v experienced in a game. Of course the videos kicked ass too.
