Regarding the Cheats & Hints.

Just cant pass this mission. I can get to about 30 seconds left on the timer, but thats all. Anyone have any thoughts?

Ive picked up weapons, Ive tried throwing the guys away from the windows, nothing. Gets frustrating.

Throw them away from the windows into other mooks, and whatever you do, don't throw your punches in melee range of the glass itself. That's what screwed me over in my first attempt.

Sadly, I think I can see that being the solution.
Last time I played, I even went "Whoa, that took some damage" when I punched the glass accidently. I will try that, thanks pyrion. I guess brute force isnt always the answer, but its hard with this character.

Since there isn't any "HOW DO YOU PASS THIS!?!" all over the net, Im guessing I have been punching that glass too much myself, and causing my own undoing. Thanks again, will post back.

I also found on my second attempt that the mooks will initially hit the glass, and then turn around and head for you. Area-of-effect ground slams also work wonders when being surrounded by them, did that a lot in my third attempt (second playthrough) and the glass hardly got damaged.

Got it easily, but have a new problem.
Now the last two hunters are invulnerable. Rockets, throws, even straight ass whoopins. Nothing hurts them. So now to do it all again with out the trainer and see.

my way of getting through this level was to find a distance to the glass so i don't damage it, but still being near enough so the guys become interested in me and stop hitting the glass.

if i remember correctly, the distance is . . . puh.
when you have the glass in your back, then on the right hand side there are some stairs that lead up to a balcony. on the left end of the balcony there is a small building.
half the length of the balcony is about the right distance for you to stand . . . i think. ~=)

the easiest way i found was to have the glass to your back stand in the center of the glass and pick up a machine gun as it has a high rate of fire, with one hit kill its easy to use tab to lock and kill all the monsters before they get close, sometimes you don't even have to lock as alex will automatically shoot anything coming at him. You just have to move the mouse to the left and right first as those are the closest infected to you then concentrate on the center.

What I did after losing my first attempt, with only 9 seconds left!, was this:

1) I stayed away from the glass so as not to hit it, that helped tremendously I think, and...

2) I consumed everything less than the hunters. I would grab and body slam the hunters then grab everything I could and consume it before they started getting on me again real bad. Just E + RMB, E + RMB, Rinse, Repeat. Glass had about 75% health left when the timer ran out.
