Well I was just fine and dandy and forced her out in the open. Instead of finding some girl I found a giant ugly monster with no idea of how to beat it. Any tips?

Yeah sorry I didn't know you were supposed to target it's leg things first so it falls down. I was just kind of attacking aimlessly, finally figured out what those little bars next to it's health bar are.

Its short if you race through on just doing the main quest line. And of course if you use a trainer then its even easier and shorter.
Try it on normal with no trainer and start crying when missions take more thinking.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

i got through half the game without any cheats. but the fight against this army guy inside the infected building is just . . . a bit too hard.
sure. most of the game isn't that difficult if you have a strategy in mind. but sometimes the difficulty curve just jumps um really high, and comes down after that moment again. those jumps are the reason i use the trainer. =)
its so fast it can do an infinite loop in thirty seconds!! =)

I use the trainer beacuse of the stupid knockdown system i mean youre evil incarnate and the only reason you die is beacuse of an animation that makes you fall down and go aww look i fell over ill just wait

He was a lot easier than Elizabeth Greene...I just jumped around a lot to evade the green lasersite he used, charged up the secondary attack on the Whipfist, and took him down handily.
