Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour Message Board  

Like the title says: Who is your worst/best general?

I have played with all the generals and I feel that General Alexandra (USA) is the best.

Pros:
* Aurora Bombers (Takes out buildings like nobody's business)
* Cheap-ass Particle Cannon
* EMP Missle Turrets & (6 well placed turrets at base creams the China Tank General... also with Sharpshooter present to take out infantry will be a hard base to take out)
* Advanced Power Plant (needed for 10 PCs and a slew of turrets )

Cons:
- No Tanks
- Other Vehicles cost more

Now to me the worse is the old geezer Laser General (USA)

Pros:
None really

Cons:
Lose power, Laser Tanks are inoperable
Require Lots of power for defenses
Average units

Others in order:

China Tank General = Gattling Tank works wonders for both attack (infantry) and anti-air support. Couple with Gattling upgrade and automatic promotion at beginning (Lvl 1) hard to beat. Tanks are more powerful/cost less

GLA Stealth General = Defenses/Rebel already cammo'ed, all other buildings come with cammo upgrade. Sabatour unit available at start (nice against Tank General), Kerman Jell for taking out drivers from USA and China bulldozers

China Infantry General = Mini gunners (gattling) instead of Red Guard, units have lvl 2 promotion (via lvl 1 general upgrade), Infantry trooper as 8 mini gunners (cheaper to buy that way, Mini gunners are also anti-air. Oh and not to forget the super-hacker / spy girl.

USA Aircraft old geezer General = King Raptors (powerful), stealth choppers.

China Nuke General = Not bad, nuke warheads for the big-ass cannon (long range, though really sllllooooowwwww) Nuke silos cheap

GLA Toxic & Explosives Generals = don't play with these too much, Explosive General is good, but if your unit dies near your other units... then that's not good

Normal USA/China/GLA - Average everything, no special units... still better than the Laser General.

Thoughts?

My least frave would be lazer aswell, but only because he is my bros fravorite.

My on top best would have to be regular usa.

Commanche, not as good as helix (zh)
Paladin may seem good, but if 40 paladins can take a base 40 crusaiders can, and in half the time. (Atleast when I use them they can...)

The China tank general, the big tanks may be slow but they're hard to kill and when you outfit them with gatling guns then choppers and airplanes are going to be in a world of hurt as well. They have nice firepower and they detect stealth, allowing me to plow slowly but steadily through any enemy base when I build like 10 of them and I can use the nukes to take out anything else that might be in my way. So far only the GLA Palace hurt them the most.

My Fav is That Fat Nuke General And tank Gernal Both From China.These 2 Are The Best Generals in The game.

Worst Gen Is Air Force And Laser Weponary Genarl Both From USA

Air Force General Is Cool Too.

Laser General has the best defense of all - played against 4 hard armies alone none came through :P

tho i really like the Nuke general also... just because i always end up with 50-60 nukes in the end :P

My fav would probably be General Alexandra (USA) because of the (insane) aurora bombers and the particle cannons are really cheap so I build many and i have like three airfields with aurora bombers.

My worst would have to be Dr. Thrax

My Best-

1) Prince Kassad- (Cammo netting, GPS scramble, Available
hijackers)

2) General Tao- (Advanced nuke powerplant, Nuke dropping Helix,
Tactical Nuke MIG, Nuke Carpet Bomb)

3) Dr. Thrax- (Toxin- Tunnel network, rebel, terrorist;Upgraded-
toxin shells for Scorpion, anthrax beta for
toxin tractor & scud launcher; Anthrax gamma)

As for USA generals, i have beat approx 342 people until now in multiplayer who were USA professionals. Also won some sizzling bets. i have also challenged 5 AI alone in single-player skirmish.

honestly one of the best RTS i've ever played in my life. The custom mods are even more amazing.
