So, I got my hands on a copy of Prototype today

Install went well, but when I launched the game, my sound is completely borked.

All the voices are speed up to like over 9000 speed, making them nothing more than instant chipmunk chirps

Also, many of the ambient noises are borked as well, like bullets not making any noticable noise.

Anyone have a clue whats going on?

    Here's a solution for you:
SoundFix: (if sound is speeded and sounds like ****)
    · Right click your Volume Control in the systray and choose "Playback devices".
    · Select your standard Playback Device and hit "Properties".
    · Move on to the tab Advanced and make sure the settings are:
24 bit, 44100 Hz (Studio Quality

Also on this topic, make sure your sound card drivers are up to date as this can cause issues too.
