FMTopFan:I use a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 CPU. I switched to windows xp got a performance increase by 10 FPS. The game now runs at a average of 45 FPS (may be because vista eats more ram than xp).By the looks of it Rockstar isn't going to add SLI support to it
The public will believe anything, so long as it is not founded on truth.

I just updated my PC both with a new Power Supply 500 Watt PSU and a Radeon Sapphire HD 4850 1gb GDDR3 video card, spent around two hundred and fifty on the upgrades!, all upgrades where done within the last few days
My PC has Windows XP Pro SP3 and 4 sticks of 1gb of DDR2 ram and my processor is Intel® Core™2 Duo processor 6400@ 2.13GHz CPU, yea yea I know should of updated the processor first, but my GTA 4 had been setting around since the spring or earlier collecting dust because my old 256mb 8900 GS video card couldn't handle the game at all, and I wanted to play it badly since getting it in the spring!..
GTA 4 runs perfectly now with my upgrades, some fool at GTA garage forum said I should of bought a 4890 2GB card, you would of been able to max out your GTA sitting's he said, hey I went with what I could afford!..
