This is old news but I didn't know it until just now. The Collectors Edition is coming with a Wireless Controller with a custom Halo skin on it. It's only being sold at Gamestop in America but other countries will sell it anywhere. It's going to cost $100.

I'm definitely getting it, I've always kind of wanted a second controller and this one is way more interesting than a normal one.

    Halo 3: ODST Maps Revealed

    July 7, 2009
    - Today is Bungie Day, meaning we can expect a few snippets of news and goodies from the maker's of Halo. And so it's begun with three screenshots revealing the new multiplayer maps included in Halo 3: ODST.

Coming September 22, ODST takes place shortly before Master Chief arrives on Earth in Halo 3. You don't play as Master Chief, instead taking on the roles of several ODST marines. The single-player looks to be quite a different experience than Halo 3, but the multiplayer will be very familiar. You'll get all the previously released Halo 3 maps and these three new ones: Heretic, Citadel, and Longshore. Along with these new maps is a new multiplayer type, Fire Fight, which is a cooperative survival mode.

    Heretic - Link
Heretic returns players to familiar ground as the Halo 2 arena "Midship" makes its long-rumored debut in Halo 3. The stark interior of the Pious Inquisitor might appear austere on first glance, but Heretic's symmetrical spaces require players to execute complex strategies in order to outplay their opponents.

    Citadel - Link
Citadel may be a long abandoned Forerunner stronghold, but its small, symmetrical confines are far from secure. Two opposing bases offer little safety for players looking for solace. Instead, Citadel forces small squads to stay in constant communication, keep their heads on a swivel, and be prepared to adjust combat tactics in close quarters.

    Longshore - Link
Longshore lacks the commercial ships that once made it a lucrative port for Old Mombasa, but it still bustles with activity. Designed for large scale combat and well suited for smaller affairs, Longshore's multitude of industrial buildings, elevated walks, and open inlets conspire to create a complex battleground tailored for multiple combat scenarios.

    PAX 09: Halo 3 ODST's Secret Story

Remember the I love bees alternate reality game that surfaced as a marketing push for Halo 2? The company that made it, 42 Entertainment, spawned a splinter company called Fourth Wall Studios. And Bungie has been working with Fourth Wall on an entire sub-story that's buried within Halo 3: ODST. It's called Sadie's Story, and it follows the life of New Mombasa resident named Sadie during the final hours before everything goes to hell in the city during the events of Halo 2 (and subsequently ODST).

Staten showed a few fleeting images of Sadie's Story, which he co-wrote with Fourth Wall, in collaboration with renowned comic artist Ashley Wood. We saw concept art of Sadie on a commuter train, then an image that looked like a flash of violent red and black with multiple figures in silhouette... and then it was gone. Just a glimpse of what's to come.

Bungie didn't elaborate on how Sadie's Story will be presented in Halo 3: ODST, but we do know that adding it to the game doubled the amount of voice acting work the studio did for the overall project. And the story won't be told in a traditional action-and-cutscene format, but rather will be revealed in snippets as your character, the rookie, makes his way through the world, gathering clues about what went down in the city. Bungie says Sadie's Story ties in with the main ODST storyline and, consequently, the overall Halo meta-storyline.
