I used the devmode cheats and accidentally pressed the key to get the gasmask prior to obtaining it in the game the legit way. Now I can't pick up the legit gasmask because it says I already have a gasmask and I can't get into the gas chamber because the game thinks I still haven't gotten the gasmask in the nazi quarters. So frustrating. Does anybody know a way to get rid of items like the gasmask once you pick them up. Can I drop the gasmask that I accidently got using the developer keys so that I can pick up the gasmask in the nazi quarters so I can continue my game? I sure hope I don't have to restart but if nobody will help me then I guess I will have to. I not that far into the game I don't think.
