I'm going to check the library tomorrow, and if it's not there then I'm going to have to order it online, but it'll take a few days to deliver and I'll be behind. D:

The book goes quick once you start reading.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

I went to my local library, they didn't have a copy, but another library in the system did, so I placed a hold on it and for it to be delivered to this library. The bad thing though is that they said it will be delivered no later than Friday. BLAH.

I received a copy from my dear friend Bider!
Started reading until page 22 "from Muad'dib family commentaries by princes Irulan" But if i may to instate my point of view about the book and also it might not be rip be cause i am just at the beginning, but it didn't satisfy me specially the detailed regarding to the motions and atmosphere but not the main story line, maybe that's Herbert's specialty, and maybe i am not used to Fictional subject!?

Anyway, anyone wants to come up with some comments about whatever he/she got until now?
    Maybe start with Dhampy.

"I'm not even sure if we are a family...". Holding an axe by the knob as she was standing at the arch of the doorway, she said.
"Still I can dream, can't I?". He quibbled.

I'm about 3/4 the way through Part 2--I'm reading far ahead because I've read it like a million times and I need to try and come up with discussion questions.

I think the first reading block (pgs 1-102) really foreshadows a lot. Frank Herbert seems to take the same approach one takes to an essay exam in college. He tells you what he's going to say. He says it. And then he tells you what he said.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

Thus, when you noted that it's read by you a million times, it must be worth it.
