Its a problem with vista just save to the desktop and drag it to the folder and overwrite the original.

I have tried to edit the files and my computer won't let me save. Does anyone know how to fix this? I am running 64-bit Vista and as an administrater. Thanks.

(but as for actual help well google "editing a .txt file in vista

Another 'Cheat/bug' which i find it useful to take advantage of is, if your enemies with a nation and want to redeem yourself but quickly is talk to the priest and you want the mission to clear out the cave. once youve done it you can speak to the priest and he says thanks and your reputation increases and you relationship increases, then talk to the priest again and you can tell him you clearered out the cave again. just keep speakin to him and you can keep improving your relationship and reputation. its probaly the only cheat i use i find it more fun and challenging not using them, but this one i find saves time.

i agree wholeheartedly with your opinion of vista. i think the best way to save files in vista is to install xp and get rid of it(VISTA).
