Open the "Balance" file in directory,
:\Program Files\cdv Software Entertainment USA\Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel\scripts\server


Use a text editor. Like your notepad, or better yet use Notepad++, from notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm.
Its free to use and is second only to an XML editor IMHO.

Do a search for the following:
DropMaxRandomRare = 12,
DropPowerupRare = 4,

Change the values to 100 on both.
When you play the game an loot the potions ( even light potions ) it will give you a message about finding a rare. If you can tolerate that message for a bit you will get very rich very fast.
Light potions will sell to vendor for 60,000 + gold each or the 20 light potion stack for 1,200,000 gold! It is not retroactive, it has to be the ones you loot after you have rebooted the game. Does not seem to work on equipment but the potions are really high value.
Keep in mind that if you need to buy a potion, exspect to pay over 650,000 gold. So only use it to get as much gold as you need, then edit the file back to its normal values and reboot the game again. All back to normal, except your very rich.

This is actually an old 'cheat', but the info you posted is not really known to most people. Also, not really useful if you're using the trainer from here anyway

I have the trainer for this game and it works great exept the money part the problum is you can't buy anything exept the cheap stuff.
