Empire: Total War Message Board  

Hey I'm on a vista (32 bit) laptop and I just want to know from step one (just installed and updated game) how to install mods from a web site?

you should probably download mod manager for the game.
(like in the previous games since rome)

Okay I've done that but what do i do now? i didnt download mods for the other TW games, people are saying drop the mod into the data...where is this data?

Copy & Paste files into:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data

might cause the odd conflicts but thats common if there redicoulsy high then it wont work .. ps make sure you make a backup copy of the files first! otherwise ull regret it like i did i only just got my empire total war working again after testing someones mod.
