Legendary Message Board  

I am fairly new(and I'm old) to gaming and not sure what to do about this problem. I installed Legendary but when I click on play, windows says it's closing because of a DEP error!Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks to anyone that can help!

Jim-rvn im gonna assume that you are running vista since i dont THINK XP has DEP at all. all you need to do is go into control panel, system, and on left side click on "advanced system settings, then click on the performance button (its the first one that you see under the new dialog box that comes up when you click on advanced system settings. when you click performance you will get yet another dialog box click on the "data execution prevention" tab switch it to "turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services" then reboot. problem PERMANENTLY solved. im sorry but the advice you WERE given is only a temporary fix until microsoft updates ur windows again and it gets overridden. this can not be overridden by windows update. hope this helps. have fun mate!!!
