Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.02, Unlimited Health, Unlimited Armor, ....

playing through single player mode using the 1.02 trainer, i've ran in to a problem where I can't switch out weapons, for example in interval three i think it is, there is an assault rifle on the ground, when i walk over it, it says ammo full, and hitting my use button on it, won't swap the weapon.


this is moderately irrating, anyone know a fix, or what to do? thanks guys


Edit: Figured out the problem sorta, it was the no reload cheat doing it, however after i got finished with interval 03, heading towards the school fought one of the napalm trooper guys, killed him, and the problem was back, can no longer swap weapons, the only other cheat on is unlimited ammo.

is there a reason it does this?

same problem. i think it's the unlimited ammo cheat causing it.

You are right... the "Unlimited Ammo" cheat prevents you from dropping a weapon to pickup a new one... I overcame this by restarting for the last save point, putting on God Mode, and then finding the weapon I wanted... Once I had picked it up, I then used the Unlimited Ammo cheat until I found another weapon I wanted, then I just repeated the same steps... Worked like a charm...

This problem still exists in the v1.03 trainer as I was unable to pick up the sniper rifle on the roof top or the rocket launcher nearby.

I've never came across this before with a trainer unlimited ammo in a game stopping you picking up a weapon. Unless you ain't meant to pick it up yet as I could later on in the next checkpoint.

Edit. I've just played FEAR2 (Internal 5) with unl. ammo, no reload and somehow it didn't affect the pickup of new weapons so I'd say its certainly related to the game as before this point I couldn't pick up the better weapon once all slots were full.
