Empire: Total War Message Board  

ive been having the same problem. After using the cheats u cant progress more than 4 years, the game crashes big time. Ive saved the file and went back and did some changes but still it didnt matter. Ive played the game without cheats and im pretty much closer finishing the campaign and didnt had any crashes at all (weird huh?) so im guessin its somethin to do with the trainer.

hi guys ive got some good news i have found out what the problem is. in this instance its the f***ing game thats is crashing. and they are aware of it and in the 6th patch (the next one) it will be fixed. i have to say this is the worst game i have purchased new ever, even silenthunter4 was still playable with its bugs.

yea I know, it is pretty awful, its still a really great game, but its pretty bad when you cant even finish one campaign for gods sake, the road to independence doesnt work for me, its horrible. if I had a disc it wouldve turned into a coaster by now xD

still fairplay that they managed not to screw up big time... Ive got more bugs now, sometimes the game will run really slow even when u think that it wud run better (ive got all the setting on ultra but my pc was designed for that.. u know quad core gtx 280 Graphics card and stuff), by even tunning down the settings the game slows down even more.... try changing resolution ull see green dots everywhere... ya gotta admit... WTF?

You know whats really sad is that game company's are turning into Microsoft in the way they makes games half ass it to release on time then wait for the people that buy the game to test for bugs and fix them as they show up it's depressing and not only that but they toke out the Console so there's not even in game cheats all of the previous Total war games have been rather good (personal fav is M:TW VI) but they released this with nothing but problems and on top of that STEAM steam is evil it requires that you run their POS service in the background when you even play SP wtf is that **** (i hate them cause someone stole my account with 100$ worth of games and they said o well go buy them again)
