Hi all
Does anyone know if it is possible to play as Denmark or another small nation, as in mediveal II?

Check it out.

I played as the Knights of St John starting with one island. Some factions can't be played yet, the US for example.
Even my beloved Irish are listed as a faction though where they start is a mystery unless there is a rebellion in Ireland, like the 1798 rebellion against the British, which failed miserably.

Denmark is my favorite faction.
Edit- When you unlock the minors, you will also find it a good idea to disable fog of war. There will be instructions you can find with a search of the mod forum on twcenter.

In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

Denmark is always a good choice in Total War games. Good trade routes and closed off borders making it easier to defend territories.
Does anybody know why Spain is so spread out? That can't be realistic. I mean who would tacticly have city's spread out across europe that you couldn't defend like that.

Look up the history of the Hapsburgs. No one planned it that way, those were just their holdings by virtue of inheritance, etc.
