Well Fallout 3 is creative when it comes to bugs. My character continued showing the swimming animation after I left the lake.

yes. and there were further more, when I holstered my weapon, it kept on shooting despite I had not pressed the fire key.

Well I was attacked by this Yao Gai (Or what?) and some rogues...Well poor animation made the surrounding look alright, they attacked normally, and I was even able to shoot. I just put the TGM cheat and fired the fat man.
