Insuficient memory!?

    okay while playing as the brits, i attack an iroquis army and then CRASH, screen goes white and says insuficient memory. any have any problems with this? im running on a gateway 7811 FX. 4 gb memory, 9800m GTS. 2.26 ghz dual core CPU. i have the latest drivers and the patches beacuse of stream any ideas?

    I get this occasionaly, but it's usually when Ive had a massive gaming session, I thought it was just me... Im running a 2.4quadcore, 4gb mem and a 9800gtx+

    Ive got installed now the 181 drivers for nvidia... u got the same?

    i just installed the new beta driver for the 9800M GTS. the 179 driver. and while playing i usually have the trainer running. Trainer runs fine. but when after a while i attack another army, screen goes white and the dumb insuficient memory comes up. err...

    check out that post, it contains the work-arounds to fixing inssuficient memory & CTD's... I've just downloaded the fix and am going to apply it.

    let me know if something works! it just CTD again same little insufficient memory pop up. after a large battle *sigh* 🤔

    It means video memory. And this is a problem especially with Vista. Vista sets a certain amount that a game can use and once it's used up the game will crash. I had this happen to me many times when Sins Of A Solar Empire came out. But they patched the game many times, optimizing it to a point that is doesn't really happen.

    What I am saying is, it is really up to Creative Assembly to fix Empire's leaking problems. I do not recommend using the Vista fix that you linked. It can lead to stability problems on your machine, especially if any new programs or hardware is installed.

    i hope they patch it! ETW is definintly worth playing for me... even with the annoying memory crashes... err.

    No problems so far Servius but i will keep in mind the note, if anything happens i'll revert the exe, although its only changing the page-file the game uses not anything else.

    Let's hope CA release a patch for it, btw billex what version windows u running? Im 64bit vista.
