Here's the readme on the options:

Options

Numpad 1: Health Boost
Numpad 2: Mega Clip



Notes

Due to the nature of the programming of this game, you need to follow the instructions!

Numpad 1: Health Boost - press this key at the beginning of each mission and at the
beginning of each cutscene BEFORE you go engaging the enemy. If you have
been shot or already undergoing damage, the option will not work. Do not
forget to do this each time there is a cutscene and at the beginning of each
mission. You should be able to withstand almost any damage.

Numpad 2: Mega Clip - press this key at the beginning of each mission and at the
beginning of each cutscene BEFORE you go engaging the enemy. If your weapon
has been shot and the clip is not already full, then RELOAD your weapon until
it has the normal maximum rounds in the clip. If you see your clip has diminished
after a cutscene, then press the key again to refill it.

Get into the habit of pressing 1 and then 2 at the beginning of the mission when you can
first move your character and also right after the cutscenes are over and you
can move your character.

Hey, I've just gotten the trainer, and there's a severe problem.

I only tried it on a fresh new game (Which automatically puts you in the tutorial), but it crashes to desktop upon starting the game if the trainer's activated at the menu.

I'm gonna try it again on a resumed game past the tutorials, and I'm hopeful.

For a bigger, better trainer, I suggest infinite adrenaline charges and infinite ammo pool.

Yea, it keeps crashing my game too, and I'm well past the tutorials

We need to know which version you're using (Steam, Scene, Retail, etc) and please provide exact replication instructions. We made the trainer on the STEAM version and have not tested on any others.

I'm using Retail version from the DVD.

All you need to do to crash the game is activate the trainer in the menu and start or continue a game. It causes a CTD with a windows "This program has closed unexpectedly" type thing.

I hope this gets resolved soon.
