you have to pay nations off in gifts.
That's true.. if you use the trainer you can get 999,999 gold and can buy many gifts for ur enemies...
But doesn't it stop increasing their disposition after so many?
I am always so very bored....

I've played as the UK for a long time and I've also nearly conquered the entire Americas. During my conquest I noticed most of the european powers starting to hate me. But as they were hating me the ottoman empire and also persia started to like me more. So the west hates me and the east loves me ... lol.

dam if some country was taking over half the world of course nooone willl like you would you like them 🤔
PS buying gifts will only raise it to a max of 100 for each turn and if your conquering lots o stuff that wont matter youll still be in the hole for tons of thingss that youve done wrong

Not a problem so far. I'm currently playing UK.
Conquered: All French territories, all euro Spain, Italy, north Africa east to the Ottoman, all of what would be the U.S., and nearly all of Canada.
Diplomacy: All allied nations are friendly or very friendly, which includes all nations allied at the start of the game, plus a few. All nations with trade agreements are indifferent or better. The only nation with a sizable territory that is still hostile is Russia.
Tips: Don't wait until you've conquered the globe to start sending gifts. Get in good early. Declare war on or break trade agreements with nations waring with your allies and trade partners (if it doesn't ask you to anyway). Help the allied war effort by sending cash, granting military access, blockading enemy ports, and liberating their conquered cities. If peace is declared between the two nations, you should also try for peace.

I'm in the same boat with the poster above. Provided my game doesn't CTD and white screen me, I (playing as the UK) have great alliances with Russia, Hanover and Sweden that provide continual support for my military efforts. I do see large parts of the world that do hate me, but I feel thats because their boarders feel threatened by a newcomer to the region. Austria who was completely hostile to me up and asked me to ally with them to attack Poland-Lithuania out of the blue... so I don't seem to have the same problems.

Well but if they made it so that other countries ignored your expansionism then the game wouldn't make any sense not to mention it wouldn't be challenging at all.
Late in the campaign most nations ought to hate you because if you were to pick on only a few at a time there would be no stopping you, with most nations looking to jump at you at the first sign of war it kind of balances out the equation.

Looks like a diplomacy bug. Similar religious countries should like each other better, Protestant Holland and Protestant England, but also allies should get stronger and better each turn. Historically, Portugal and England had close ties. Looks like the diplomacy model should be improved to be more realistic on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 extremely hostile,10 almost one country(think Anschluss--Austria/Germany. Trainer works great, now we need a more realistic diplomacy model and how do you trade for technology?
