Empire: Total War Message Board  

Too many Xbox and Playstation 3 games have achievments, so everyone thought it would be cool to include that in PC Games. The only thing is, almost no one cares for them.

agreed. i dont even care for them on the consoles, but for some reason there are some people out there that believe your achievement points on the 360 will make or break your life...

cant see why they wont give console left 4 dead has console and everyone plays it... cheats work everything... they blocked achivements on singleplayer or local host so if u enable cheats u cant get achivements means you got to do it the proper way but there are little tweaks that you can do to get the achivements.... so i cant see why they don't just implement the same rule with empire total war complete stupidness not to.

The console only made it funner and with these naval battles I keep thinking about blowing up a tiny little pirate fleet with twenty heavy first rates in campaign, the battles are just funner in campaign than in skirmish.
Also does anyone know why it takes about three years to research sauerkraut and lime juice. I mean really.

Personally I do not care for achievements. Just bring back the console.

Achievements earn kudos from xbox live and are like money for some stupid little arcade games and something like that ( as far as i know) and works ONLY on xbox. So where is the point in pc achievements? They do nothing on pc - we have all those modes and other stuff for free. LOL to hell with them - only damaging games for me

wassup gys question when u finish the game do the other nations open for use ore u can only use the preset ones...

oh and i do and i dont miss the console this way at least i have the one turn unit build ^_^..."i need a mega trainer like this for the other total war games specialy "roma and roma barbarian invasion" ^_^
