Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising Message Board  

Not sure if this is to do with the trainer but whenever i try to use the soviet satelite strike the game locks up and i have to alt-tab out of game to close it down- this happened with the previous Redalert 3 so i'm seeing a pattern

Any one else have this problem?
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing it?

I'm using windows 7 at the moment, and the problem still arises under vista. Patch is run in Admin mode, UAC is off but havent tried compatabillity mode with win 7 yet. Compatability mode in vista causes the same problems.

Other than that the game is great and the trainer works fine

The soviet superpower to make a satellite fall out of the sky crashes crashes for me with the trainer. Other optiosn I have tried work OK.

Did you have Plasma force armor on? I figured this out the hard way in red alert 3 previously.

Try turning it off then using the sattelite strike.

Because I think it counts as a unit, and it crashing ****s things up.

Can confirm the crashes, however some response from the trainer makers would be sweet, just to confirm or deny the issue in question, and just maybe create a fix for it

Turning off the Plasma Force Armour worked like a charm, thanks for the tip

Will have to try to toggle the plasma force armour off when i want to cheathappens units and troops into space and drop them on ther friends :P

Yep, this is a known issue, which cant be fixed. Because the plasma armor makes all units on your side invincible, the game cant handle the sat drop, since the items that drop are actually classed as your units. If you watch the sat drop, the dots that appear on your minimap are your color.
Best thing is to either disable the plasma option just prior to launching the drop, or just use the mega unit option.
