F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin Message Board  

As of yesterday (3/14/2009)Steam has updated FEAR 2 to 1.02. Ever since then I can't get the trainer to work. Everytime I activate it, it crashes the game instantly. I've used both 1.02 and 1.02240 MegaTrainers, and both have the same result. Any suggestions/help? Is it just me?

Must be you. I'm using the STEAM version updated to 1.02 and the 1.02 trainer works perfectly. Make sure you're IN THE GAME before pressing F1. Make sure your trainer graphic says 1.02 on it or you're still using the previous version. Clear your cache and re-download.

You're correct. I deleted all previous FEAR 2 trainers, cleared out my cache, and redownloaded trainer v 1.02. Works like a charm. Thank you.
