I understand that it has been suggested that once we donwload the game and install it that we should back up the install file to a DVD. Problem is I don't know the name of the file that was downloaded or where it was downloaded too. Just so you know I purchased my copy of the game from the EA store. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you use the EA download manager ( or does it have one? )

check thru your programs list if you did use one & find out where the program installed in your system.

It should have an options setting & you can check there for its default download folder.

    I have used a download manager ( fileplanet / direct2drive )
and its program has a settings tab so you can set the default download directory.

I purchased the game from the EA store and used the EA DownLoad Manager to download it before I installed it.

I just looked there and all I see is what think is where the game installed. Does anybody have any idea what the name of the file is that we downloaded when we purchased this game? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In case your still looking for it do a search for the following

    \EADM\cache\

    On my system it's (install path)\EADM\cache\{ 2280549871 }\

The numbered directory may be different on other machines

I looked in that directory and looks to me that its where the game was installed. But I did not find any single file that looked as if it was the file that was downloaded when we installed the game.
