I agree people are complaining loads about a good game which has shown creativity and expansion from the originals.

True there have been some moves away from the original game but if they had kept things the same they would have recieved a load of stick from a lack of creativity and invention.

Besides what other games have Tim Curry

The issue with the game is not the fact they diddn't keep it the same as RA2. I wouldn't care if they had nothing the same unit wise from RA2. The issue is with the lack of units and creativity involving them.

The Japanese are the prime example of a good faction. Everything is new, everything looks awesome and is effective. RA2, allies had loads of units to choose from as did the soviets but they all had there own unique differences. This game has shown no creativity as you suggest it does. Creativity would suggest having a whole new unit set. Going from mutli-purpose infantry, to prism tanks and camo tanks that make themselves look like trees and turn that into infantry called peace keepers with shotguns and crappy and complete regular tanks. That is about as uncreative as one can get.

To put in short, this game has so completely turned me off the Commander and Conquer series that I went from fan of the series to never touching another commander and conquer game again. I'm sure the gamemakers make a good effort but theres no way I'm shelling good money for a game that cannot come close to beating RA2's gameplay and infact seems like it does everything in it's power to downgrade it. For nothing more than a worse, improved graphics game. That's been the new legend of the Command and Conquer series, which doesn't seem to end with just Red Alert 3.

uhm,you guys doesnt make any sense,ra3 is on balancing, the allies on air power, soviets on tanks, and japs on the navy...
the story or mission is to get the players used on how to use the units.the is all about tactics, and using what your prefered side's primary strength.as well as unit combinations...
if you cant play tactical or just like using 1 type of unit, such as apocalypse armada in ra2,just play ra2.ra3 is focused on being a tactician...
in ra3 they also improved the naval battles, such as being able to build structures in water and fight clearly in the waters, using every naval units you can build,as well as having an air support for the navy.in other pre-ra3 ra series you cant do it,you always need to have a ground base or you're done..
ra3 also has better graphics and visual n sound effects...
though there are some problems with ra3 too,you need to have a really good computer or you cant play it,i guess they want the players to be upgrading their comps, which is actually a good thing,we cant just always stick on the old things,we need to be moving forward not holding back...
i guess those who didnt like ra3 most were those who have no high spec computers...
ra3 storyline isnt just well thought, they probably on rush or on budget...

about that some who said that tanya owns other heroins, just plainly explain how?natasha can simply hit and run her, while yuriko definitely owns tanya,i think by far yuriko is the most useful heroin in the game.she can take on air on ground units, unlike natasha and tanya.though every heroin has their weaknesses and strength...
tanya,i dont think she can be easily overwhelmed by infantries and non-anti-infantry vehicles.she can also lay waste an enemy base much quicker and easier than natasha and yuriko, that is after the base defenses were taken out by other units.her weakness, air units,anti-infantry vehicles, long ranged units and base defenses...
natasha, she can snipe out a group of infantry in a line, she can take out a vehicle driver(navy or ground) and simply steal it with a conscript or an engineer(the only soviet unit you can use to steal a naval unit).she can also own all base defenses while the other structures are sitting ducks for her airstrike.her weaknesses, she can be overwhelmed by infantry or vehicles, long ranged units that outranges her and air units...
yuriko, she almost owns everything.she can juggle enemy units or crash down air units, try dropping a kirov down, which is the easiest and quickest way to knock it down.she can also use psychokinetic burst against group of infantries trying to overwhelm her.she can take out the toughest and strongest unit with an ease.weaknesses, after using her psychokinetic burst,it'll be on cd and she can be overwhelmed by infantries, long range base defenses, long ranged units(natasha owns her, just dont let yuriko get close to natasha or yuriko will own natasha),overwhelming anti-infantry units...
so basically in ra3,every unit has its own pros and cons...
all in all, either enjoy the game or stop playing it..

So basically it has to be same as Ra2 in order to be a good game?
    If it's not like ra2 it's a bad game?
Same goes with other RTS fans they are like if it's not like SC or RA2 then it's a bad RTS you guys need to grow up.

Speaking of creativity this game has all of them, just look at all the unit each has it's own use they have secondary ability. Unlike ra2 Every single unit is useful none of them are not used.

Ra2 had lots of units 2 choose from? by that I think you mean only tanks.
    Lets see

    Soviets

    RA2 Ra3
    Infantries

    -Attack Dog -War Bear
    -Conscript -Conscript
    -Engineer -Combat Engineer
    -Flak Trooper -Flak Trooper
    -Tesla Trooper -Tesla Trooper
    -Crazy Ivan - Natasha
    -Yuri

    Vehicles

    -Rhino Tank -Hammer Tank
    -Terror Drone -Terror Drone
    -Flak Track -Bull Frog
-V3 Rocket Launcher -V4 Rocket Launcher
    -Apoc tank -Apoc Tank
    -Kirov -Kirov
    -MCV -MCV
    -War Miner -Ore Collector
    -Sickle
    -Mig Fighter
    -Twin Blade

    Naval

    -Sea Scorpion -Stingray
    -Typhoon Sub -Akula Sub
    -Dreadnaught -Dreadnaught
    -Squid -Bull Frog
    -Hover Transport

Basically Ra3 has more amphibious units to cover up the role, and it has ore air units. In ra2 it was mostly about land land land battles. Each faction had only 1 aircraft.
In ra3 each faction has more than 3 aircrafts, and you can build on water, and some units are amphibious which is really realistic.

Theres actually even more unit in Allies because they have more aircrafts and only 1 of their naval unit is amphibious.

Ra3 Mirage Tank = Ra2 mirage tank + Prism Tank
It is the combination of that, eventhough it does have low armour it has the highest vehicle cannon power in the game.
These tanks doesn't camo just trees but sometimes they turn into rocks and other natural guises depending on the terrain.
Their secondary ability is to enable Gap Generator which makes units invisible around itself.
It is like Prism because of its high damage and it reflects.

Guardian Tanks, well they are not just regular tanks, they have this secondary that targets the target with a laser making other units easier to fire accurately dealing more damage.

Also using the support power you can get this upgrade that makes the tank even more useful.
These tanks have slow fire rate but powerful punch. Japanese tanks fire very fast but each punch is weak.
If you look deep the game is very complex and very creative more creative than ra2!

PeaceKeepers are revolution to the CNC, Shotgun wielding frontline infantries.
Just because it doesn't have trenches that makes it bad?
As graphics become more realistic the game also has to become more realistic.
Imagine peacekeepers suddenly packing out sand bags out of nowhere in the middle of a war just within 2 seconds.

In ra2 it was all about spamming, any unit could beat any units because the counter system was pretty simple.
In ra3 its way more realistic, you can't just randomly build and spam and attack because each unit has it's weakness and they can easily be countered.

Lets say you send 10 tanks to your enemy base. Well your enemy will build anti armour choppers and will wipe out all your tanks.
IN ra3 it isn't simply about building and sending it's about micromanaging it's about thinking of how to counter. Its more complex it isn't the simple old game.

and you guys probably hate it because you guys love simple gameplay.
